Summer season at the Archaeological Park and National Museum of Luni is in full swing with the Lun'Aria 2026 event series. Following the initiatives held over the past months—from morning wellness sessions in nature to outdoor performances—our summer calendar brings two new opportunities to experience the site under a whole new light.

Wednesday, August 5th & Friday, August 28th: Two Special Evening Openings

In summer, time slows down, and cultural landmarks adapt to a gentler rhythm. On Wednesday, August 5th and Friday, August 28th, the National Archaeological Museum of Luni exceptionally extends its opening hours, inviting visitors to explore its collections wrapped in the evocative atmosphere of the evening.

Led by an expert archaeologist, you will embark on an engaging and accessible journey through the artifacts and history of ancient Luna, exploring one of Liguria's most significant archaeological museums at a very unique time of day.

• Admission Fees:

  • Full fare: € 5.00

  • Reduced fare: € 2.00

  • Free entry: Under 18 and eligible categories according to current regulations (The guided tour is included in the standard Museum admission ticket; the Amphitheater is excluded).

A story behind the name "Lun'Aria"

Do you know where the name of our summer program comes from? Beyond evoking the refreshing evening breeze and the moon illuminating the Park, Lun'Aria is a tribute to Lunaria, a wild plant known for its translucent, round, silvery seed pods resembling small moons... or ancient silver coins. It felt like the perfect emblem for a season designed to let beauty bloom, seamlessly blending the natural landscape of the Park with the rich history of our past.
