Routes

WHAT

The Museum of Luni includes the exhibition site and the archaeological area of the excavations of the ancient Roman colony dedicated to the goddess Luna.

HOW LONG

The route can be short or long, depending on personal interest: the archaeological area, currently immersed in the fields of the Lunense plain, is very large (it covers almost the entire area of the ancient Roman city!): on average, we recommend that you have about two hours available.

MAP AND AUDIO GUIDE

At the entrance, you can pick up a map of the archaeological area where routes with no architectural barriers are also marked. There are descriptive panels in the archaeological area; you can listen to a free audio guide on your mobile phone.

TIPS

For the visit, we suggest wearing comfortable footwear and a hat to protect yourself from the sun.

SAFETY AND SECURITY

We recommend not climbing over fences and following marked paths for the safety of visitors.
