Luni opens the doors to its restoration sites with “Museum at Work”, a series of events offering a behind-the-scenes look at the museum and ongoing projects.

Digitizing the Deposits
Guided tour with an archaeologist through the museum’s deposits to observe the digitization of artifacts, normally inaccessible to the public, and explore the new museum. The project is part of the PNRR, coordinated by the Central Institute for the Digitization of Cultural Heritage – Digital Library of the Ministry of Culture.

The digitization of the museum deposits has begun, creating a digital database with high-resolution images and scientific information. A step towards a more open museum, where Luni’s heritage can be studied, shared, and explored online.
