December Events

The month of December brings to Luni a rich programme of themed events, guided tours with archaeologists, and special openings to experience the Museum and the archaeological area throughout the festive season.

An in-depth look at the ancient techniques for extracting and working Lunense marble, the symbolic material of the territory and a key resource for the city’s economy.

Guided tour with an archaeologist at the museum (booking required)
An exploration of Luni’s history through its coinage: symbols, authority, trade, and political identity impressed in metal.
