Spring in Luni

March brings new opportunities to experience Luni up close: guided tours with archaeologists to discover how historical knowledge is formed, special meetings dedicated to the daily work of caring for and maintaining the site, and a publishing event to reflect on the power of images in the Roman world.

Enriching the month are the extraordinary Monday openings, designed to offer even more visiting days during the spring period.

Free admission to the Park and the Museum

Dialogues in Archaeology

Presentation of the book “Augustus and the Power of Images” by Paul Zanker.

📖 An opportunity to reflect on the use of images in the construction of consensus during the Augustan age and on the role of visual communication in the Roman world.


📍 Spring Mondays

2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 March – special openings from 8:30 to 13:30

Thanks to a project aimed at improving the cultural offer, the Museum and the Park will also be open on Monday mornings, offering new opportunities to discover Luni at a more relaxed pace and enjoy the spring season.

Please note that the guided tours with the archaeologist are included in the ticket price, but booking is required by calling +39 0187 66811 or by sending an email to drm-lig.luni@cultura.gov.it, also indicating a telephone contact.

If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the visit will be rescheduled and those who have booked will be notified by phone.
